Kapoff Instructions for Use

BEFORE YOU REMOVE YOUR VIAL CAP
If you are required to add a dilutent to the contents of your vial, we suggest that you
do that with a needle, through the rubber bung, and mix the contents according to instructions, before removing the cap with the Kapoff®.
Only use a Kapoff® to remove the vial cap if it is safe and legal to do so. If the instructions on the vial specifically state that the cap should NOT be removed, then please DO NOT REMOVE the cap.

1 If the vial has a coloured plastic cap over the rubber bung, flip this off first. The Kapoff® will only remove the crimped metal vial cap.

2 Place the Kapoff® over the vial cap and ensure the lip of the opener is just below the crimped edge of the vial. Make sure it is not under the glass lip of the vial to reduce any risk of vial damage.

3 Ease the cap off with lipped edge of the Kapoff® with a levering action, like opening a bottle of fizzy drink with flip top bottle opener.

4 Please note that the rubber bung may also lift out, so open slowly and if necessary replace the bung by hand once the metal crimp cap is clear, if required.
